Job Description:
Sonora Quest Laboratories is seeking a diligent Medical Lab
Technician I to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is
crucial in our mission to deliver superior diagnostic testing
services across Arizona. You will be working in a state-of-the-art
facility collaborating with skilled professionals, where precision
and reliability are paramount. Leveraging the joint expertise of
Banner Health and Quest Diagnostics, you will support the provision
of critical medical insights that aid in diagnosing and managing
various medical conditions. Conduct chemical and biological tests
on patient samples, ensuring timely and accurate results. Maintain
and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure operational accuracy.
Prepare specimens and samples for testing, following strict
protocol. Document all procedures and results accurately to comply
with necessary regulatory standards. Collaborate with lab
colleagues to manage workflow and case loads efficiently. Adhere to
all applicable laboratory safety guidelines and standards.
Proficiency in operating laboratory equipment. Strong attention to
detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability
to work effectively in a team. Robust analytical and
problem-solving skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) by
the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or
equivalent.
