SUMMARYThe ideal candidate will be skilled in basic construction, plumbing, and electrical systems and be familiar with operating a range of power tools and vehicles, including Gators, tractors, skid steers, and forklifts. Knowledge of landscaping and irrigation systems is preferred. Preferred attributes include physical stamina, dexterity, reliability, patience, a strong desire to serve within a covenantal Christian community, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. To be considered, a candidate must possess a valid Arizona Driver's License, reliable transportation, and must pass a background investigation. --This year-round position is Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, starting on July 1, 2025. Must be fluent in both English and Spanish.--ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSPerforms painting of interior and exterior building surfaces--Responsible for miscellaneous building/classroom repairsMows, trims, edges, and fertilizes grassy athletic fields and common areasTrims trees and shrubberyEnsures the campus is free of debris and always presentable to our community and visitorsDemonstrates good fiscal responsibility in the management of the budgetCoordinates with outside vendors and contractorsCoordinates repairs to facilities and mechanical systemsSets up and tears down needed facilities and furnishings for campus events--Orders supplies needed for maintenance functionsReadily performs other maintenance-related duties as assigned by the Director of Operations or Head of Schools--REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSThe ideal candidate will have basic construction, plumbing, and electrical systems skills, and also be familiar with operating a range of power tools and vehicles, including Gators, tractors, skid steers, and forklifts.
