Automotive Technician
$45hr
No Weekends

Our Family-owned repair shop is rapidly expanding, and we are currently looking for a new Automotive Technician to join our service center. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience. We are hiring for an Automotive Tech. Must be able to diagnose all makes and models. Technicians must have all the tools necessary to service all makes and models.

Responsibilities:

Adhere to manufacturer specifications to maintain vehicle systems and ensure customer satisfaction
Ensure a straightforward repair process by clearly communicating systems issues and repairs
When needed, conduct routine maintenance such as checking fluids, rotating tires, replacing brake pads, and oil changes
Help establish service protocols for tracking the status of repairs, maintaining relevant technical manuals, using charts, and more for all of our dealerships
Determine and investigate any malfunction codes in the vehicle's integrated diagnostic system using skilled expertise and diagnostic tools

Qualifications:

Must have completed a post-secondary training program in automotive service technology; associate degree a plus
Possess a high school diploma or GED
National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, or ASE certification is strongly desired
Strong customer service and communications skills are needed
