Incorporated in 2011, North Wind Resource Consulting's core
capabilities include environmental documentation and permitting;
natural and cultural resource surveys; wildlife and botanical
expertise; National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) technical
services; historic and prehistoric surveys; environmental
consultation such as Section 106 for cultural resources, Section
404 for wetlands, and Section 7 for endangered species); and
Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and mapping capabilities.

country.
Job Description
North Wind Resource Consulting, LLC is seeking a qualified GIS
Analyst II with 2-5 years' experience to support various cultural
and environmental projects. The work will be located out of our
Phoenix, AZ office. Remote work is possible for the candidate with
the correct skills and job experience. The selected individual will
use a variety of ESRI GIS applications to create maps, setup field
devices and support our Cultural Resources group. There may also be
data conversion, and analysis of GIS data and preparation of data
documentation and metadata for GIS projects. The candidate must
have a high level of skill in preparing publish quality maps and
exhibits out of Arc GIS Pro and be familiar with ESRI field maps.
The candidate must also demonstrate reliability, a strong work
ethic, effective oral and written communication skills and the
ability to complete projects independently and/or in small teams in
a responsible and timely manner. The candidate must have
demonstrable experience with providing graphic assistance to
proposals, technical reports, or public involvement meeting
materials. This is a fast-paced environment and individuals will
need to communicate effectively to technical staff.
Most of the projects will be cultural resource assessments and
figure support, but may also include NEPA documents, fire
management plans, environmental assessment support, and
environmental remediation support among others. 95% of the of the
work will be supporting cultural projects and the other 5% will be
supporting proposals or other environmental projects. Most of the
work will be performed in the office with travel being 15% or less.
This opportunity affords excellent experience and applications of
GIS in diverse environmental fields.
