The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler provides support for the Maintenance Team and plant through the management of the CMMS preventive maintenance and work order systems. Work centers around job planning and scheduling of maintenance team activities and helping the maintenance team increase overall effectiveness. It involves documentation of maintenance activities and follow up on schedule changes. Work involves prioritization of preventive maintenance and work orders around equipment needs.

This position requires working with Leaders and fellow partners to ensure Food Safety and Partner Safety. Understand and execute standard operating procedures relative to position. Perform all PCP and CCP checks required for position. Follow reaction plan for Food Safety, Food Quality and customer requirement outages and by contacting TA/TL. Be able to identify and understand customer requirements and assist in assuring proper operation and product. Record accurate data on production reports.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

* Within a team environment, participates in the development of the maintenance control systems. Develop parts list/ bill of materials for specific equipment as well as special tool requirements for each task.
* Organize and prioritize work orders based on risk to safety, food safety, environment, production schedules, etc. Schedule work orders to meet equipment, parts, and resource availability.
* Collaborate with others to ensure required parts and tools are assembled and available for scheduled work orders.
* Utilize CMMS system to document work completed and to reschedule uncompleted work orders. Communicate with all team members to evaluate work progress and to document current status. Provides training support for maintenance technicians on CMMS
* Coordinate with production to schedule maintenance activities to coincide with production needs.
* Develops and provides maintenance control reporting to all team members of RGB to communicate planning and scheduling of maintenance activities.
* Other duties as assigned by leadership.

Required Skills:

* Specific Mechanical and Electrical Knowledge Required for completing maintenance tasks for time estimation.
* Thorough knowledge of plant systems.
* Develop documents and forms using MS Word and Excel to communicate SOPs to Technicians.
* Trained on predictive maintenance technologies including vibration analysis, tribology, infrared, ultrasound, etc.
* Trained on equipment reliability techniques including precision lubrication, ultrasound, vibration, and precision assembly skills.
* 2-4 years of recent industrial maintenance experience.
* Basic computer skills with hands-on Windows knowledge.
* Must pass standard company testing requirements.

The ability to work with others along with a self-starter attitude and proven ability to make decisions and effect change with very little direction will make the successful candidate most effective. Some travel, including overnight accommodations, (typically less than 1% of work time) may also be required by this position.

Work Schedule:

The primary work schedule for this position is typically M-F and provides 8 hour coverage during 5x8 hour work week. Since RGB is a 365 day per year operation, provisions should be made for occasional deviations from any typical schedule to work nights, weekends, or even possibly holidays in order to support production plant needs.
