Job Summary:Trane has an exciting opportunity to join our organization as a Commercial Services Sales Manager in Arizona! -You can be located in either the Phoenix or Tucson areas, as you will support, mentor and coach Account Managers based out of both Commercial Sales Office locations.In this role, you will manage the day-to-day activities of a sales force in order to implement the organization's overall sales strategy for all of Arizona. You will have P&L responsibility and be responsible for policy and strategy implementation for short-term and long-term results.Reporting to Arizona Area General Manager, the position will develop and implement solutions to expand the commercial sales opportunity pipeline within the service sales department - including HVAC Controls. Partnering with local area sales and operations teams, the individual will lead sales initiatives that will optimize customers' building operating comfort while reducing the energy intensity of the commercial building environment. You will participate in the creation of our go to market and execution strategies, while leading the adoption of our client facing approach. Successful performance will result in sales growth that drives share gain and margin expansion. This role will help ensure our long-term growth and success by developing strategic partnerships with customers and other key external stakeholders.Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, lead and monitor the activities of a commercial sales team at multiple locations to achieve established sales targets.
  • Provide the tools, environment, and opportunity for associates to develop, resulting in an empowered and productive sales team.
  • Support key account colleagues in the management of key client relationships and in the negotiation of contracts with key customers.
  • Increase market share through utilization of effective sales management process.
  • Prevent and resolve any sales channel conflicts.
  • Establish marketplace strategy. -Desired Candidate Profile:
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, business or equivalent from a four-year college or university preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Minimum eight (8) years of HVAC industry sales and/or marketing experience.
    • Familiarity with IAQ - Indoor Air Quality - and Energy Services for Commercial Buildings.
    • Overall knowledge of HVAC Commercial Service and Controls, including sales, service, installation, and business practices.
    • Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations included, but not limited to: -
      • DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years. Base pay range: $131,500 to $306,500. -Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. -Disclaimer: -This base pay range is based on US national averages.
