This team is responsible for the Wells Fargo Foundation, community relations, impact investing, and integrating sustainability, human rights, social justice, and equity considerations throughout the company.o---- --Strategy & Transformation leads strategy, operating model, and cross-functional initiatives for Public Affairs. The team drives transformation, risk management, operational excellence, and efficiency, while measuring progress against our strategy, focusing resources, and defining success measures.This position will focus on media relations and external communications for Wells Fargo---s Deposit Products Group (DPG) and Consumer and Small Business Banking Operations (CSBBO) team, by developing and executing communications plans for the line of business that promote and protect Wells Fargo---s reputation. Preference is for this position to sit in Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; Minneapolis, MN; or Phoenix, AZ. Other locations may be considered. The Wells Fargo job code title is Communications Senior Consultant.Specific responsibilities include:--- Serve as proactive media relations consultant leading efforts that including supporting ATM, consumer and small business checking and savings accounts, and Zelle.--- Serve as primary point of contact for regional communicators for media inquiries and collaborate on proactive media relations efforts.--- Provide issues management project communications support.--- Work with team to plan and execute communications that create visibility and support business objectives for deposit products and services such as Zelle and Clear Access Banking.--- Work with team in promoting the Banking Inclusion Initiative.--- Partner with team on Consumer PR efforts.--- Serve as Communications contact in responding to escalated customer issues in social media related to deposit products and services or fraud.Communications & Brand Management delivers strategic internal, external, and executive communications for Wells Fargo and is responsible for driving the company's brand strategy.   • 5+ years of communications experience in one or more of the following disciplines: public relations, media relations or corporate communications demonstrated through work or military experienceOther Desired Qualifications
    • Experience developing integrated communications plans that align with business objectives
    • Experience securing both broadcast and print media opportunities with national media outlets
    • Experience in crisis communications and issues management
    • Experience prepping senior executives for high profile media interviews or speaking engagements
    • Experience developing compelling content and leveraging multiple channels for creative storytelling
    • Experience building strong relationships and collaborating across large organizations
    • Experience presenting information in a manner that persuades, and enhances understanding at all levels --Job Expectations
