As the company's second line of defense, Corporate Risk - or Independent Risk Management - provides independent oversight of risk-taking activities. Independent Risk Management establishes and maintains Wells Fargo's risk management program and provides oversight, including challenges to and independent assessment of, the frontline's execution of its risk management responsibilities. We manage risk according to the Risk Management Framework and ensure all employees understand their individual accountability for managing risk. Corporate Risk roles depend on a variety of skills, including: Data analysis and synthesis, root cause analysis, change management, process management & execution, risk governance, risk strategy, risk identification & assessment, risk prevention, controls & mitigation, risk monitoring, reporting & escalation, risk systems & technology.
As part of the Compliance Solutions Management (CSM) team, this newly created Business Communications Consultant 3 position will execute a communications strategy related to compliance, operational or technical communications, as well as other communications outside of the scope of the Corporate Communications function.
Key responsibilities include:
- Plan, write, edit, coordinate, and publish a variety of complex and/or sensitive communications related to compliance and/or regulatory matters, and our ongoing business efforts.
- Content management and/or design of a SharePoint site collection and Teamworks site.
- Write and edit a variety of complex communications and resources for solutions users and stakeholders.
- Consult with managers and subject matter experts (SME) to develop communication goals, objectives and plan to best communicate messages.
- Develop communication goals, objectives and the design/medium/channel for execution.
- Lead or participate as communications SME in cross-functional teams as needed.
- Track and measure results to ensure alignment with business objectives. Ensure a consistent, compelling story as it relates to vision, values, behaviors and culture.
- Collaborate with line of business communicators to align on key messages that support the roll-out of change and communications tactics.
- Manage complex and/or sensitive communication projects.
- Assist in the planning and facilitation of lunch and learns, new team member onboarding, and group meetings.
- May assist in the development of training material as requested.

Required Qualifications
6+ years of communications experience
2+ years of SharePoint administration experience

Desired Qualifications
2 + years of experience with SharePoint Designer workflows
Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Experience using and maintaining corporate brand standards
2 + years of experience with internet content strategy and writing content for websites
2+ years of web design and development experience
Experience applying Wells Fargo Style Guide and brand standards

Experienced with communication plan and strategy development
