Description:Fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently.Provide a high level of customer service by answering pharmacy phones andresponding promptly to the requests of colleagues, patients, nurses, physicians, andhospice personnel.Contribute to the efficient workflow of the pharmacy by maintaining a high productivitylevel and an error-free work product.Maintain the orderliness of the pharmacy by keeping pharmacy countertops and drugbay shelves tidy and organized.Enter, access, and verify the accuracy of data in the pharmacy system.Other duties as required. Use knowledge of Metric System Verify completeness or accuracy of data; use computers to enter, access or retrieve data Prescription or refill requests and verify that information.-down the road, this position may be moved to inputting duties for pharm techsSkills:Data Entry, Medical Terminology, Sig Codes, PTCB, Pharmacy Technician Trainee licenseAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Familiarity with standard pharmacy concepts, practices, and procedures. Strong verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain professional composure in a fast-paced work environment.
