Fathom's extensive certifications include ISO 9001:2015, ISO 9001:2015 Design, ISO 13485:2016, AS9100:2016, NIST 800-171 and ITAR.CNC Machinist Lead Position Summary: Lead CNC Machinist will be responsible for set up, troubleshoot, and operate CNC Machine centers, performing manual data input, (MDI) programming, inspecting parts using manual gauges and instruments, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety procedures. Strong technical skills, ability to interrupt 2D drawings and GD&T, and a commitment to producing high-quality machined parts.
CNC Machinist Lead Key Responsibilities:

• Setup and Operation of CNC vertical machining centers
• MDI (Manual Data Input) programming, using
• Inspection using manual gauges and instruments
• Understanding of GD&T and ability to read 2-D drawings
• Monitor an inspect the part throughout the machining process
• Observe all company quality and safety procedures
• Communicates and collaborates with team members in the sharing of information and solving technical issues
• Participates in Lean manufacturing events
• Other duties assigned CNC Machinist Lead Qualifications/Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must have 2 years in a Lead role
  • Associate degree in a relevant field or (5+) years of experience
  • Strong work ethic and high attention to detail
  • Flexible, ability to work in a fast-pace team environment
  • Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information
