a Lead Systems Engineer in the AES Group here at Honeywell, you will play a
critical role in leading and overseeing a team of highly skilled systems
engineers in the design, development, and delivery of advanced systems and
solutions for the Environmental Control System (ECS) and Vapor Cycle System
(VCS). Your expertise in these systems will be instrumental in ensuring the
efficient and effective aircraft operations. You will report directly to our AES Systems Engineering manager and you'll work
out of our Tempe, Arizona location on a hybrid (3/2) work schedule. In this role, you will impact the growth and success of Honeywell by ensuring
the successful execution of complex projects related to ECS and VCS systems.
You will have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and
technical experts to drive technological advancements and deliver high-quality
solutions to our customers.Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee a team of systems engineers in the design, development,
  and delivery of advanced systems and solutions for ECS and VCS
• Utilize your expertise in ECS and VCS systems to ensure the efficient
  and effective operation of aircraft environmental control and vapor cycle
  systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and technical experts to drive
  innovation and technological advancements in ECS and VCS systems
• Ensure the successful execution of complex projects within timelines and
  budgets
• Present complex technical information clearly and effectively to diverse
  audiencesU.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical
    discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
  • 6+ years of experience in systems engineering and engineering management
  • 6+ years of experience in Environmental Control System (ECS) and Vapor
    Cycle System (VCS)WE VALUE
    • Experience in Aerospace Systems and Requirements Based Engineering, including as appropriate, for example DO-178, DO-160 and DO254.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

    • Excellent problem-solving capability
    • Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies in ECS and VCS systems including Air Conditioning
    • Systems, Cabin Pressure Systems, and Supplemental Cooling Systems.
