Position Title: Admitting Registrar- Emergency Department

Essential Functions:

• Interview prospective inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room patients at the time of registration, assuring timely and efficient registration processing.
• Requests and collects any payments based on the insurance verification and estimated patient balances.
  Requirements:
  
  • The Highest education level, minimum High School diploma or equivalent
    Preferences:
    
    • Two (2) years prior registration experience
    • Medical Terminology
    • Basic computer knowledge
    • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
