CNC Machinist Position Summary: The Machinist is responsible for the manufacture of parts per plant specifications in an accurate and timely manner utilizing manual and CNC machine centers. CNC Machinist Key Responsibilities:

• Setup and Operation of CNC vertical machining centers
• MDI (Manual Data Input) programming
• Inspection using manual gauges and instruments
• Understanding of GD&T and ability to read 2-D drawings
• Changing programs and verifying programs using Mastercam
• Monitor an inspect the part throughout the machining process
• Observe all company quality and safety procedures
• Communicates and collaborates with team members in the sharing of information and solving technical issues
• Participates in Lean manufacturing events CNC Machinist Qualifications/Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of milling and or lathes experience
  • Preferred Mastercam experience
  • Strong work ethic and high attention to detail
  • Flexible, ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information.
  • Great communication skills
  • Experience in a high mix - low volume machining environment is a plus
