Construction Project Engineer Where will you work: Remote in the US with a preference for Texas, Florida or Louisianna Travel: Expected travel 20%-30% to our sites in: St James, LA; Galveston, TX; Tampa, FL The Construction Project Engineer will be responsible for providing project management and engineering services to efficiently manage capital projects from inception through completion, following Mosaic s CPM system, to support for Mosaic's Supply Chain Operations. Tasks relating to this job include preliminary or detailed project scoping, engineering design, scheduling, cost estimating, procurement, supervision, construction management, and supervision of contract engineers, designers and contractors as needed to accomplish project goals. Projects may be located at multiple Supply Chain sites primarily in Florida, Texas, and Louisiana. What you ll do?

• Project execution and management: scope, schedule, budget, safety, quality, contractor management
• Ensure projects follow an acceptable capital process management methodology from project initiations/concept, through engineering design (developing engineering work packages for projects, managing engineering and construction contractors, reviewing deliverables), construction, commissioning, start-up, turn over, and project close
• Prepare and present weekly/monthly project status reports to Mosaic Leadership to include progress, productivity, cost, and schedule utilizing the Mosaic Capital PPM System, SAP/CCMR and other templates
• Collaborate with Procurement Group in developing bid packages including scope of work, preparing requests for quotes and proposals (RFQ/RFP's), list of potential bidders, conducting pre-bid meetings, clarifying bidder's questions, evaluating bids, writing purchase requisitions, and reviewing/approving invoices.
• Participate in Mosaic's relentless pursuit of an injury-free workplace through project safety leadership company initiatives
• New project development work including collaborating with Supply Chain operations, management, and other stakeholders, internal or external engineering services firms. What you ll need:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline
  • A minimum of four years project management experience in industrial, construction, and/or similar environment (level will determined by experience and interview) Bonus if you have the following:
