Job Title: Email Developer Client Location: Nashville/ Tempe/ Seattle ; Hybrid Salary/Pay Rate: $55 to $60 Hourly Hours: Full-time Duration: 6 months Job Description: We are looking for a front-end web and email development contractor to join the marketing team. You will be responsible for creating HTML/XHTML and CSS for our hiring website and email channel. The successful candidate should be experienced working with graphics design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator) and converting design mockups to cross browser / device / email client compatible HTML/CSS and JavaScript. Responsibilities:

• Responsible for end-to-end campaign development of email programs, including campaign setup, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Implement best practices in the coding and development of email campaigns, delivering long-term solutions for email production efficiency and accuracy
• Create code, test, review and maintain email templates according to industry-standard best practices
• Create optimized assets that are cross browser/device/email client compatible from creative design files
• Evolve modular email template library as business needs change
• Provide guidance to development and teams regarding email requirements, best practices, and bug fixes
• Build/code static and dynamic web pages from mockups and additional specifications
• Create code for front-end behaviors with dynamic HTML
• Develop optimized/cross-platform front-end code in CSS/XHTML, and JavaScript Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years experience coding and testing responsive front-end design using HTML and CSS
  • Exhibit an understanding of cross-browser / email client compatibility issues
  • Advanced knowledge of email rendering, deliverability, and testing
  • Strong communicator (both written and verbal)
  • Experience with testing tools such as Litmus, Email on Acid, etc
  • Expert with HTML/XHTML at the hand-coding level.
  • Expert in CSS for content styling and layout.
  • A proven portfolio demonstrating the above skills will be required
