The IT Solutions Team Lead provides formal and informal training to students, staff, and faculty in the use of audio and video broadcast technologies to enable "higher learning" for our students. Responsibilities of the IT Solutions Team Lead:Provides escalation monitoring, troubleshooting and resolution of issues escalated from other organizations and students of Bryan University.Monitors Support Team metrics and provides reporting, analysis, and recommended optimizations.Trains ITS team to continually improve technical, troubleshooting and customer service skills.Is responsible for creating and maintaining documentation repositories.Coordinates ITS teamwork schedule.Coordinates task assignments for the team and provides status as necessary.Reviews quality of work of Information Technology Support team members. Provides Professional Development recommendations and support as needed.Responsible for Company-wide technical and outage communicationsMaintains working relationships with Vendors in order to coordinate ticket resolution and identify process improvements.Required to be onsite as needed.Up to 10% Travel required.Requirements of the IT Solutions Team Lead:4+ years experience with Help Desk ticketing systems.4+ years experience with Technical Document management systems.3+ years experience in a senior help desk role.Prefer 4+ years experience with Higher Ed applications.Prefer 6+ years experience supporting medium scale organizations with cloud infrastructure.Prefer 6+ years of demonstrated troubleshooting applications, Mac/Windows devices and performing Root Cause Analysis.Prefer 4+ years experience with vendor management.Prefer 4+ years developing and documenting Support Best Practices and Troubleshooting processes.Intermediate certifications in various workstation technologies.Intermediate certifications in server/networking technologies.Training and certification in various soft skill and leadership skills.
