    Job Summary
    The Small Business Development (SBDC) Program Coordinator coordinates all on-boarding and training of new employees related to our systems and databases. Provides support related to our Small Business Development Center program. The SBDC Program Coordinator supervises all temporary and/or part-time administration support personnel. This position works closely and supports the SBDC Supervisor and Assistant Center Director.

    Essential Functions
    50% Coordinates deadlines by monitoring and prioritizing
  • Works with Center Director to create budgets, monitors and tracks funding and expenses
  • Plans, organizes, and assigns the work of staff if serving as a lead worker; plans, organizes, assigns, supervises, reviews and evaluates the work of staff if assigned supervision
  • Participates in hiring, discipline and termination activities if assigned to supervision
  • Coordination and oversight of program; responds to inquiries and solves problems in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Assists with the development and implementation of program guidelines, forms, policies and procedures
  • Creates, edits and verifies monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports to stakeholders.
  • Creates and edits presentations and additional outreach documents (marketing, social media posts, etc.)

    45% Attends meetings, takes notes and shares information with relevant parties.
  • Troubleshooting to resolve issues
  • Organizes, updates and maintains program records, files, manuals and/or documentation
  • Prepares, processes and/or reconciles transactions, forms, paperwork and/or system data
  • Monitors and ensures compliance with policies and procedures
  • Oversees training of all staff (operations area) and coordinates additional training

    5% - Performs other duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications
    Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in education, business or public administration, or a directly related field and one (1) year of experience in researching information, gathering data, performing preliminary analysis and preparing reports.

    OR

    Associates's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in education, business or public administration, or a directly related field and three (3) years of experience in researching information, gathering data, performing preliminary analysis and preparing reports.

    OR

    High School Diploma or G.E.D. and five (5) years of experience in researching information, gathering data, performing preliminary analysis and preparing reports.

    Desired Qualifications
    A. Experience in creating monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports to stakeholders
    B. Experience with the Small Business Devlopment Center
    C. Experience in training others
    D. Two or more years of experience in scheduing program work, coordinating program related activities, and prioritizing program schedules.
    E. Experience in hiring and employee relations
