About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Compliance Specialist in Corporate Risk as part of Compliance User Acceptance Testing Services. The Compliance User Acceptance Testing Services Team supports the implementation of new applications and enhancements for Compliance line of business teams, by managing user acceptance testing to mitigate risks inherent to the introduction of new technology. The team coordinates with other areas such as policy/procedures development, program and technology managers, and compliance leadership, to integrate technology communications and training.

In this role you will:

  • Develop and execute the user acceptance testing (UAT) activities for major Wells Fargo Compliance technology releases, as well as smaller production defect releases
  • Understand the business units and provide compliance risk expertise and consulting for technology/process changes for business activities, projects, and initiatives identify, assess and mitigate regulatory risk
  • Provide subject matter expertise with comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end processes utilized by business teams to evaluate risk, test controls, and prepare for examinations conducted by external parties
  • Coordinate UAT activities and any dependencies to ensure successful acceptance by the business owners upon delivery
  • Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines amid shifting priorities, working both independently and in a team environment
  • Work with the compliance teams to understand the business requirements and ensure that the planned technology to satisfy the requirements is testable
  • Create, prepare, and deliver UAT test plans, test strategies, and test signoffs, while adhering to corporate test standards
  • Author complex test scenarios, test cases and test scripts
  • Perform complex test data conditioning, regression testing and testing validation, applying medium to advanced testing methodologies
  • Partner with business teams to ensure user acceptance and regression test scripts accurately reflect business processes.
  • Provide metrics and status of UAT activities being performed to support project timelines
  • Oversee the reporting of application defects through triage, correction, and testing processes to ensure the Technology Team has the required information and support needed to correct the defect
  • Support the update of training content, user guides, and frequently asked questions documentation
  • Participate in regular reviews of testing processes, reports, and metrics to ensure efficiency
  • Collaborate with UAT teammates to create new tools and testing procedures to continuously evolve best practicesRequired Qualification(s):
    • 4+ years of Compliance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualification(s):
      • 4+ years of systems/application testing, or systems/application quality assurance experience
      • Advanced knowledge and understanding of test plans, test cases, test procedures, test scripts, and expected results
      • Experience with HP ALM or JIRA
      • Strong strategy experience including research and analysis
      • Experience in both Agile and Waterfall Methodologies
      • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
      • Experience communicating effectively in verbal and written formats with senior managers and stakeholders
      • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
      • Experience operating effectively in a geographically dispersed organization
      • Ability to work across multiple lines of business leading large scale initiativesJob Expectations:
