Center for Arizona Policy (CAP) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Executive Assistant. The purpose of this position is to increase the capacity of the President and act as the liaison, on behalf of the President, to the CAP staff and constituents. A strong servant heart and focus on details, a high degree of flexibility, and a commitment to excellence are essential for this position. The Executive Assistant must thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a desire to initiate and lead relevant processes and procedures, and be able to quickly comprehend and act on changing priorities when necessary. Candidate requirements include : Mature Christian, agreement with CAP---s Statement of Faith and demonstrable commitment to CAP---s mission and position on core issues (see www.azpolicy.org). Passionate, called, motivated to advance CAP---s work Bachelor---s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Operations, and/---or equivalent work experience Minimum 4 years executive administrative experience Key experience required includes: Manage the President---s calendar and schedule Coordinate President---s meetings, providing necessary documents, creating presentations, note-taking, and arranging meals. Become an advanced user of the constituent relationship management (CRM) database Analyze incoming correspondence and reports to determine their significance and plan their distribution. Assist the President to develop, maintain, and grow key strategic relationships that impact the organization. Manage any special projects on behalf of President and Executive Team as needed. Coordinate and monitor all speaking and display table requests made of the organization. Manage State Bar of Arizona Association renewals and Continuing Legal Education (CLE) class arrangements for President and Legal staff members. Faithfully serve as an extension of the President in all other respects. Characteristics Desired: With attention to details, able to operate on a schedule, manage multiple events and projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and achieve goals without immediate and constant supervision Team player, outgoing, friendly, professional personality High degree of proficiency with MS Office products including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel . Testing will be required Dependable, able to consistently follow instructions Problem-solver, able to document, analyze, and improve processes. Ability to work discreetly with confidential data. High level of integrity and honesty. Commitment to continual improvement.
