Position Summary
The Medical Associate will be part of a team responsible for
screening and evaluating potential donors at our new Donor
Collection Facility in Tempe, AZ. You will screen donors through
medical history intake discussions to determine donor eligibility
for our stool donation program.
This role reports to the Senior Manager, Donor Operations and will
be part of a growing and mission-critical team. The position is
based in Tempe, AZ.
What You'll Do
Perform donor history screenings
Help with day-to-day tasks in the center: scheduling donors,
answering phones, restocking supply room, cleaning bathrooms, donor
check in, managing donor schedule
Interface in a positive manner with donors
Carry out duties in a GMP environment, with detailed attention to
required documentation practices.
Work with the donation center management to maximize the efficiency
of the donation process.

What You'll Bring
A medical assistant certification or associates degree, or a BA
with experience in
healthcare, typically in a front-office/patient intake setting.
Phlebotomy certification is a plus, but not required.
Comfort with electronic medical record systems is required.
Comfort with patient/customer facing role.
Demonstrated strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Enthusiasm for a team-driven mindset in a diverse and dynamic
environment.
A history of working on clinical trials is preferred, but not
required.
Experience with plasma or blood donation is preferred, but not
required.
Candidates should be aware that Seres Therapeutics currently
