Join a team recognized for leadership, innovation and diversityThis position is located in Phoenix, AZ (Deer Valley) within the Flight Systems (FS) department as part of the flight controls system engineering team. We develop state-of-the-art flight controls for air transport and regional aircraft, including Boeing 787, COMAC C919 and ARJ21. Our team is also developing the Compact Fly-By-Wire (CFBW) product for the Urban Air Mobility (UAM) market, including Vertical Takeoff and Land (VTOL) air vehicles, unmanned Cargo VTOL vehicles and other fixed wing aircraft. Our team designs and implements primary flight control laws, as well as other key functions such as interface management and data voting, integrity and system monitoring, mode logic, annunciation, flight test features, etc. We work very closely with a world-wide customer base to develop requirements and integrate our system into the air vehicles. Customer interaction, including possible travel to support on customer meetings, design reviews and aircraft flight testing are anticipated. Join a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex systems within Honeywell Aerospace. You will be integral in creating system solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
