Description:
Defense & Space Security ProgramProfessional will:
Exhibit proficiency in industrial, system, and special program
security.
Develop procedures for classified or sensitive programs.
Assist in the preparation of policies for handling, storing,
keeping records, and for granting access to restricted areas,
records and materials.
Track security clearance investigations and performs administrative
support functions via NBIS/DISS/JPAS.
Design and present training for security programs..
Assist in security investigations and assessments in order to
prepare reports and risk mitigation strategies.
Participate in security compliance audits.
Successfully communicate recommendations that promote the security
of company personnel, property, and operations.
Prepare manuals to address regulatory requirements and assist in
establishing appropriate procedures,
Be self-driven and results oriented.
Work effectively in a group or independent environment.
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills,
specifically in security intelligence, analysis and risk mitigation
strategy development.
Exercise effective interpersonal skills with leadership and
peers.
YOU MUST HAVE
Experience must include one of the following: Bachelor's Degree
2+ years of relevant industrial, system, or special program
security experience
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Eligibility for access to classified information.
Ability to be granted at least DoD Secret clearance within 60
days.
FSO Program Management for possessing facilities and FSO role in
the NISP training (or completed w/in 90 days of start day).
WE VALUE
Post-graduate or Advanced Degree.
US Government or Department of Defense industrial, system or
special program security experience.
Familiarity with NISPOM, Physical Security, Construction of Closed
Areas, managing NIPSOM/SAP ICD Programs.
Special Technical, Special Access, or similar program
experience.
Ability to work independently as well as a team member alongside
other security professionals around the world.
Industrial Security Professional Certifications (SFDC, ISP,
CISSP).
SME creating industrial security policies and procedures.
COMSEC, OPSEC experience.
Closed area construction/accreditation.
Minimum active DoD Secret clearance
