begins with youAbout this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead
Communications Consultant for our Diverse Segments, Representation
& Inclusion (DSRI) communications team. This position will focus on
internal and external communications initiatives that support our
Black/African American diverse segments work and our company's
DE&I priorities. In this role, you will:
- Lead and develop communications strategies that support and
promote our Black/African American diverse segments work, external
partnerships, and our company's DE&I priorities
- Create and develop segment-focused campaigns that include
employee communications, media relations, and thought
leadership
- Provide strategic counsel and communications support for DSRI
leaders
- Serve as a trusted advisor on reputation management issues
- Partner with media, write and edit a variety of communications
including press releases, pitches, bylines and talking points
- Identify executive advocacy, external speaking and/or social
media opportunities
- Seek opportunities to fully leverage internal and external
channels to tell and amplify our story
- Track and measure results to ensure they are in line with
intended outcomes and business objectives
- Partner with other teams in Communications to ensure alignment
of communications strategies and messaging and
- Work on additional projects, as needed Required Qualifications,
US:
- 5+ years of Public Relations, Media Relations or Corporate
Communications experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one
or a combination of the following: work experience, training,
military experience, education Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with Diversity Equity & Inclusion (DEI)
communications
- Experience developing integrated communications strategies
- Experience counseling executives on high-profile issues and
thought leadership
- Experience in crisis communications and issues management
- Experience with proactive and reactive media relations
- Experience in marketing campaigns a plusJob expectations:
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Currently, this position falls under the scope of this mandate Pay
range:
- NY- New York Pay range: $100,800- $179,200 annually
- NC- Charlotte range: $84,000- $149,400 annually
- Salary Range is determined by location of the jobPay
