It all begins with youAbout this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Communications Consultant for our Diverse Segments, Representation & Inclusion (DSRI) communications team. This position will focus on internal and external communications initiatives that support our Black/African American diverse segments work and our company's DE&I priorities. In this role, you will:

  • Lead and develop communications strategies that support and promote our Black/African American diverse segments work, external partnerships, and our company's DE&I priorities
  • Create and develop segment-focused campaigns that include employee communications, media relations, and thought leadership
  • Provide strategic counsel and communications support for DSRI leaders
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on reputation management issues
  • Partner with media, write and edit a variety of communications including press releases, pitches, bylines and talking points
  • Identify executive advocacy, external speaking and/or social media opportunities
  • Seek opportunities to fully leverage internal and external channels to tell and amplify our story
  • Track and measure results to ensure they are in line with intended outcomes and business objectives
  • Partner with other teams in Communications to ensure alignment of communications strategies and messaging and
  • Work on additional projects, as needed Required Qualifications, US:
    • 5+ years of Public Relations, Media Relations or Corporate Communications experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications:
      • Experience with Diversity Equity & Inclusion (DEI) communications
      • Experience developing integrated communications strategies
      • Experience counseling executives on high-profile issues and thought leadership
      • Experience in crisis communications and issues management
      • Experience with proactive and reactive media relations
      • Experience in marketing campaigns a plusJob expectations:
        • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Currently, this position falls under the scope of this mandate Pay range:
          • NY- New York Pay range: $100,800- $179,200 annually
          • NC- Charlotte range: $84,000- $149,400 annually
          • Salary Range is determined by location of the jobPay Range$84,000.00 - $149,400.00 AnnualBenefits
