Job Description:

A-Line Staffing Solutions is hiring a Grievance and Appeals Coordinator for a major managed care company in Tempe, AZ! Rate: $20.00/hr Location: Remote to start but will return back in office in Tempe, AZ - M-F 8 AM - 5 PM - Need to be vaccinated!
Responsibilities: 1. - - -Receive, validate and triage new appeals and disputes 2. - - -Assist with entry of new disputes as required - 3. - - -Research the allegations made in the appeal or dispute as well any relevant adjunct issues that are presented or may be at issue 4. - - -Research the claim / authorization / treatment history of the party at issue, document research in the appropriate locations - 5. - - -Coordinate with all relevant departments to ensure accurate history and follow-up actions including creation of auth or claims payment 6. - - -Provide the highest standard of prompt and courteous customer service to both internal and external customers - 7. - - -Create and ensure timely receipt of all correspondence related the appeal / dispute 8. - - -Document and communicate trends in a database as well to peers and leadership - 9. - - -Actively participate in a weekly grievance committee as required 10. - - -Maintain minimum production and TAT standards

Required Skills: - - - - - 1. - - -2+ years grievance or appeals, claims, or related managed care experience - - - 2. - - -Oral and written communication - - 3. - - -Problem solving
