The Mortgage Servicing Claims Supervisor is responsible for overseeing default processes, which may include filing claims for loss or reimbursement, or approving the payment of expenses incurred during default. Managing complex foreclosure and post foreclosure default processes and mitigating the risk and exposure within those processes. The Supervisor will be expected to monitor industry changes in the business climate, and implement these changes within the processes they oversee, if applicable.What we need from you

  • Manage, lead and motivate department staff to achieve department goals, and maintain approved department standards for quality and production.
  • Monitor and assist with day to day processes and handle all escalations that require management review.
  • Review and report on a regularly scheduled basis any trends in operational reviews and / or trends in reporting results, including monthly reports to Investors.
  • Monitor industry changes in the business climate
  • Ensure 100% compliance with all department and company procedures.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education and ExperienceRequired:Strong understanding of mortgage default servicing.Demonstrated strong leadership skillsExperience and knowledge with Mortgage Insurance claims or GSE claim or Government claims or Private label claimsAbility to work with various individuals and departments across the company in order to access and understand information/data required for analysis.Strong proficiency in all Microsoft ApplicationsMust possess strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task multiple priorities, and demonstrate strong decision-making skills simultaneously.Demonstrated ability to manage and coach individuals to success.Preferred:Prior experience with mortgage originations.Prior experience with accounting.EducationRequired:Bachelor's degree (B.     • Compensation. Colorado based candidates $53,000 - $71,000 per year.
