Join the Precision Diagnosis Ventures team and be tasked with building and deploying best of kind solutions for our healthcare customers that drive top and bottom line growth for their health system. The software solutions portfolio at Philips has grown exponentially over the last few years with new high growth businesses leading the way for future growth. Patient Engagement is a critical area of investment, and our recent acquisitions will enable us to continue to build a portfolio of software solutions in this space.

That's where we need you as Senior Software Engineer to design and lead development of an integrated solution that connects new software assets with existing software assets to form a cohesive system that is interoperable and scalable.

You are responsible for

  • Driving the architecture and implementation of our patient management platform that can be utilized by multiple business within Philips.
  • Define, design and describe the architecture for integration of our patient management platforms
  • Design an IT architecture which will drive collaboration and compliance across multiple businesses
  • Drive the transition to a services architecture so multiple businesses can utilize product functionality in a seamless manner
  • Develop engineering patterns and proofs of concept to build and deploy solutions quickly to test integration concepts.
  • Lead a team of engineers to complete the integration
  • Applying strong expertise in IT, Business Applications, and integration concepts

You are a part of

The Ventures team in Precision Diagnosis. The Ventures team is working on developing and bringing to market new digital solutions for our healthcare customers. Our mandate is to invest in and develop new high growth businesses that can transform operations for our healthcare customers. We are working on a cohesive strategy that brings together a portfolio of offerings that will enable our customers to engage with Philips as a critical partner to deliver healthcare. We work like a start-up inside Philips and are transforming how Philips does business with its customers.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Degree in Computer Science, Math, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience in software development
  • C# experience required
  • Experience in object-oriented languages and OOP best practices
  • Experience designing, building, and deploying RESTful interfaces
  • Experience documenting API interfaces for client consumption
  • Experience with cloud-hosted applications
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and writing functional unit tests
  • Preferred experience with data storage technologies, data aggregation, and data archiving techniques
  • Preferred experience with .NET and .NET Core
  • Preferred experience with Azure DevOps
  • Preferred experience with developing and deploying serverless technologies
  • Preferred experience with CI/CD best practices
