Sequoia is seeking a proactive, organized and experienced Executive Assistant with excellent customer service and project management skills to support four of our leaders. This role will act as an extension of our leaders, providing executive and logistical support on day-to-day activities and special projects throughout the organization. We are looking for a highly motivated, over-achieving, hands-on Executive Assistant who flourishes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What You'll Do

  • Manage complex calendaring, travel schedule, team off-sites, other events, coordinating meeting room set up, ordering catering, and all communication related to meetings, conference calls, event planning, and interviews for our leaders
  • Coordinate work streams for our leaders and team members to ensure implemented procedures support his productivity, create smooth processes and reflect priorities
  • Provide independent leadership and project management of projects
  • Be the "face" of Sequoia and supported leaders in all interactions, communicating with team leaders, clients, prospects and partners daily
  • Prepare and partake in key meetings by creating presentation materials, taking meeting notes and driving meeting action items
  • Prioritize work by considering its risk, importance, urgency, and potential business implications
  • Capable of working with discretion and tact in an environment exposed to a high level of sensitive and confidential information
  • Interact cross-functionally with departments, employees or others in need of meeting with leadership
  • Handle multiple tasks while being flexible as priorities and focus can change rapidly.

What You'll Need

  • 3+ years of EA experience supporting a C-Level executive
  • Previous experience in heavy calendaring, meeting preparation, and strategic projects required
  • Heavy calendaring and meeting preparation experience in a fast-growing company
  • Client service and technology organization experience is a plus
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and have constant change on a variety of projects
  • Strong program and project management skills with the ability to multitask
  • Solutions-oriented team player who takes initiative and is accountable for results
  • Strong commitment and alignment to Sequoia's mission and values
  • Flexible and adaptable to work effectively in demanding and ambiguous situations
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's degree required
