Job Description:
Description JOB SUMMARY: Supervises the day-to-day activities of
Inventory Control Clerk along with Warehouse employees to ensure
timely responsiveness to product, delivery, and promotion inquiries
and problem resolution. Manages day-to-day inventory levels,
including inventory purchases, maintenance, and freight damage
revenue. Supervisors assigned staff to ensure QCD objectives for
efficiency and productivity are met. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Supervises Inventory Clerks to ensure effective communication and
collaboration between QCD Customer Accounts and vendors regarding
routing, promotional activities, new store openings, and other
aspects of customer service. Oversees distribution projects such as
computer conversions, service level changes, customer requests, and
surveys to meet customer needs. Assist in market-wide and
occasional product changes to ensure customer accounts are
addressed in a timely manner. Responds to purchasing along with
Armada complaints and other issues to resolve problems quickly and
thoroughly or to forward them for appropriate resolution. Performs
the work of Inventory Control, as required, to ensure completion of
all work tasks in the event of a staffing shortage. Attends
customer (Armada, Purchasing, and Finance meetings to build and
maintain strong customer relations. Supervises the daily activities
of assigned IC staff to ensure that proper inventory levels are
maintained, productivity objectives are met or exceeded, pricing
data are accurately maintained, and transportation arrangements are
confirmed. Direct and completes period-end inventories and variance
reports to accomplish QCD objectives and identify areas for
improvement. Disseminates accurate and updated product information,
changes, and new promotions to other departments. Performs other
related and assigned duties, as necessary. LEADERSHIP/MANAGEMENT
RESPONSIBILITY Supervises IC Coordinators along with warehouse

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education and experience equivalent to:
Education/Certification: Bachelor’s degree in materials/logistics
management, accounting, or business from an accredited college or
university Experience: 3 to 6 years of relevant work experience in
inventory control and/or purchasing, expediting, warehouse in an
automated environment. Supervisory experience. Knowledge, Skills,

Forklift, Reach, and Electric Pallet Jack Experience with an RF
Scanner Have General understanding of ERP ( Enterprise Resource
Planning) Systems Ability to work with Warehouse management system
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite Available to work Saturdays and
Mornings during the week Understands Cycle counting both Physical
and systematic Able to lead a team of 14 – 16 Associates Act in
