A client of Sharp Decisions Inc. is looking to bring on a GIS Programmer Analyst to be based in Phoenix, AZ. Position is 100% remote but client only wants to consider local candidates to Phoenix, AZ. Position is on a one-year contract basis with possible extension. *W2 and Local Only. JOB DESCRIPTION:The ideal candidate will have the following skill sets: ArcGIS Web AppBuilder development, Street Map Premium (SMP) experience. Custom locators.JOB SUMMARYThis position is responsible for collaborating in assessing, recommending GIS solutions while ensuring major goals, deliverables and deadlines are met.The person in this position is also responsible for maintaining and or developing the department's GIS web-based applications, database solutions, patching and upgrading ESRI based applications. The duties may include analyzing GIS data, proposing various methods of automating GIS analysis, database development including stored procedures, web services development including locators developed using ArcGIS StreetMap Premium.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIESKnowledge of:Web services, spatial data, geo-databases, relational databases Mapping software including ESRI ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Pro.Mapping tools including Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS, ArcGIS JavaScript API, ArcGIS Online, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS StreetMap Premium.Geographic projections, data sources and formats, information analysis, relational databases and geo-databasesLatest data processing hardware and software technology advances, a thorough knowledge of GIS technologies, relational database and geodatabase management, analysis and modelingGeographic information analysis and modeling methods and techniques, cartographic presentations and image analysis Skills in:Programming languages including .Net, C#, SQL, TSQL, JavaScriptESRI web-based development (widgets, JavaScript API) Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skillsAnalyzing and problems solvingVerbal and written communicationCustomer service Ability to:Balance, prioritize and organize multiple tasksDevelop web-based GIS applications using ESRI's Web AppBuilder including custom widgetsDevelop web services in support of web-based GIS applicationsWork collaboratively in teams and across organizationsSynthesize feedback and adjust plans accordinglyDevelop and write detailed technical documentationDevelop, modify and support database objects including packages and stored proceduresStrong customer service skills and communication skillsExcellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skillsAnalyzing and problems solvingAccurately analyze GIS data with complex geographical relationships
