Please follow standard Client Travel Policy*** Project Hours are Generally Standard Business Hours M-F with ability to coordinate & set with project team to a standard consulting schedule such as 7-3, 8-4, 9-5 PM. Please use this as Services Project Sample Hours Business Casual Dress Scope and Approach Client will perform the following Services: * Perform discovery regarding current Deployment, EMS & Windows 10 Enterprise (M365) o Office 365 Overview Session - This session introduces the features of EMS with a focus on implementing Intune for device management; the discussion focuses on the business benefits of the features and planning considerations for migration o Problem Statement Development - This session acts as a high-level Envisioning Workshop, translating the business problem and solution statements into a high-level solution and summarizes how the solution could integrate with the Clients environment For the recommended security strategies for Office 365, identify future value opportunities offered by Intune and the security features of EMS, and capture any motivators the Client may currently have around proceeding with a migration to Office 365 and define criteria for a successful implementation Design o Validate routable UPN o Validate mail enabled applications o Detail shared/resource mailboxes o Verify the number of objects in Active Directory to be synchronized Work with MS O365 Support to move tenant to large tenant space if necessary (above 40K objects) * Validate Client OS and Office version requirements are met * Validate Current Exchange environment is in a healthy state * Validate current Office 365 tenant state o Delete any old/unused mailboxes from tenant * Validate reverse proxy publishing abilities o Calculate hardware requirements for using VMs * Document current archive solution implementation * Modify on-premises UPNs for all Active Directory objects to match the mailboxes primary SMTP address * Discuss the business needs with the Client o Skype for Business o OneDrive for Business * Discuss Public Skype communication Needs with Client * Discuss Public Federation Partner communication needs with Client * Discuss Exchange connection requirements with Client * Discuss Internet connection/port requirements o Skype for Business Clients o OneDrive for Business Clients Deployment * Validate and deploy if required o Microsoft Azure Directory synchronization software o Run hybrid deployment wizard on new Exchange 2016 environment o Verify hybrid configuration wizard completion and manually adjust if needed * Ensure that the Proper SIP address has been added to the Proxy Addresses Attribute in Active Directory o Add via a script if necessary * Modify all global options o Skype for Business (policies, federation, public IM, conferencing, etc.) o OneDrive for Business (policies, hold requirements, etc.) * Create all required DNS records o SRV connection records o SRV federation records o Mobile records * License all users o Skype for Business o OneDrive for Business * Creation of end user communication plan * Test deployed Skype for Business and validate o Installation o IM and presence with users o Communication requirements from the design discussions Voice Video Federated Partners Public IM Testing * Enable test users for Skype for Business * Enable test users for OneDrive for Business * Migrate test mailboxes from on-premises to Office 365 * Verify free/busy lookup from on-premises to Exchange Online and vice versa is functioning properly * Test SMTP routing between on-premises and Office 365 * Test Office 365 OWA login with migrated mailbox * Test Office 365 Exchange ActiveSync Pilot Migration and Enablement * Enable pilot group for Skype for Business and OneDrive for Business * Migrate pilot group of no more than 10% of users, 170 users maximum, to Office 365 * Document and remediate any issues discovered in pilot Velocity Migration and Enablement * Enable production users in groups of 100 for Skype for Business * Enable production users in groups of 100 for Skype for Business * Migrate production users in groups of 100 to Office 365, for no more than 1,700 Mailboxes Documentation and Knowledge Transfer * Provide design and as-built document * Provide up to 2 hours of knowledge transfer on the Office 365 Web PortalEEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
