Development, and Talent Coordinator (Construction / Manufacturing
Industry - HR & Staffing Focus) Position Summary The Training,
Learning & Development Coordinator supports the Human Resources
function by managing onboarding workflows, organizing and auditing
training requirements, facilitating new-hire training sessions, and
developing or administering learning materials. This role ensures
new employees in construction or manufacturing environments are
properly trained, compliant, and set up for long-term success. The
position also supports Talent/Staffing operations with light
recruitment coordination as needed. Key Responsibilities Coordinate
all steps of new-hire onboarding, including schedules,
documentation, system access, and Day-1 readiness. Partner with
hiring managers, Safety, Operations, and HR teams to ensure
job-specific onboarding meets compliance requirements across plant,
field, shop, and warehouse environments. Prepare and distribute
orientation packets, welcome communications, equipment checklists,
and onboarding materials. Administer and maintain the LMS,
including course assignments, reporting, data accuracy, and system
uploads. Track completion of safety, regulatory, operational, and
role-specific training; conduct regular training audits for OSHA
and company compliance. Maintain training logs, certification
records, SOP versions, and documentation for employees,
contractors, and temporary workers. Facilitate new-hire orientation
sessions, safety training, and site-specific instruction for
diverse workforce groups. Support creation and updates of learning
materials such as presentations, job aids, SOPs, handouts, and
workflow documentation. Assist with administration of existing
training programs and curriculum updates in partnership with
corporate or global L&D teams. Provide supplemental recruiting
support including interview scheduling, applicant tracking, and
pre-employment coordination during peak hiring periods. Respond to
employee questions regarding onboarding expectations, training
deadlines, LMS access, system issues, and policy guidance.
Collaborate with Safety, Operations, and HR leadership to
streamline training workflows and identify process improvements.
Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness using feedback,
assessments, attendance data, and LMS analytics. Maintain accurate
HR, onboarding, and training records to support compliance audits
and workforce readiness planning. Support additional HR initiatives
such as performance evaluation preparation, culture-building
activities, and compliance-driven projects. Preferred
Qualifications Experience creating or updating learning content
(PowerPoint, Canva, LMS authoring tools). Exposure to safety
training processes, OSHA requirements, and compliance tracking
within industrial environments. Experience supporting HR operations
such as onboarding tasks, employment paperwork, I-9 verification,
or new-hire compliance processing. Pay Details: $55,000.00 to
