Job Description:

Description As the recruiter, you identify current and future staffing needs of a business, develop a sound brand name, and ensure the company is giving employees a positive experience. Your responsibilities include collaborating with your hiring managers to write job advertisements for open positions and then finding areas to advertise jobs such as career pages, social media, and job boards. You source some employees through online channels like professional networks and portfolio sites. Other duties include participating in career fairs and other related recruiting events that can boost the company's reputation. Requirements

  • Candidate Screening: The Recruiters is responsible for screening resumes to determine which candidates meet the minimum requirements. Recruiters then move chosen candidates on to the next step in the hiring process.
  • Interviewing: The Recruiter is responsible for conducting initial interviews, which are then used to narrow the number of potential candidates who will be interviewed by the hiring manager. The recruiters will set up interview appointments between the chosen candidates and the hiring manager.
  • Reference and Background Checks: The Recruiters is responsible for conducting reference checks by verifying employment information and contacting the professional and personal contacts provided by the candidate.
    • Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs
    • Source resumes
    • Screening resumes
    • Perform in-person and phone interviews with candidates
    • Administer appropriate company assessments
    • Perform reference and background checks
    • Make recommendations to company hiring managers
    • Coordinate interviews with the hiring managers
    • Following up on the interview process status
    • Maintain relationships with both internal and external clients to ensure staffing goals are achieved
    • Communicate employer information and benefits during screening process
    • Stay current on the company's organization structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices
    • Serve as a liaison with area employment agencies, colleges, and industry associations
    • Complete timely reports on employment activityPhysical Demands: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
