Job Description:

100% Virtual Role. Manager will take candidates outside of AZ!The HR Generalist will provide professional advice and consultation to department management in the daily execution and delivery of Human Resources programs and strategies. Consult and partner with department management in the areas of employee relations, investigations, performance management, leadership development, organizational design and development, and employee communications.Provides comprehensive HR support to assigned functional group(s) in the areas of:

  • Employee relations
  • Investigations
  • Performance Mgmt
  • FMLA/STD counseling
  • Organizational design and development
  • Recruiting
  • Compensation analysis and recommendations
  • Compliance managementFunctions as a business partner and advocate by helping to identify & direct human resources solutions to business needs, while ensuring the efficient, compliant delivery of HR programs and services.Works to identify and resolve actual and potential employee problems through the analysis of performance appraisals, counseling, and ongoing coaching sessions, as well as through insights gained from direct support activity and contact with associates and managersAdministers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in development and implementation of policies and procedures; interprets Employee Handbook and policies and procedures manual; advises management on organizational structure, disciplinary actions, recognition, etc.Education/Training: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required. PHR or SPHR certification preferred.Related Experience: 3-5 years of HR generalist experience; prior experience working with legislation concerning employment; ADA, FMLA, EEOC, OSHA, FLSA, Title VII.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Management skills in coaching and performance management are required; must be a proven leader with the demonstrated ability to build strong client relationships; must be able to deal directly with clients to build consensus, establish trust, communicate effectively and foster cultural change; strong organizational skills are required; must be proficient in the intermediate functions of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word. Workday experience preferred.
