Job Description:
Welcome to The Mission Gilbert! Our restaurant group is built on
a foundation of excellence, hospitality, and innovation, led by
award-winning chef, Matt Carter. With acclaimed concepts including
The Mission Old Town, The Mission Kierland, Fat Ox, and Zinc
Bistro, we have established a reputation for delivering world-class
dining experiences. As we open our newest location, The Mission
Gilbert in Epicenter, we are seeking front of house management
professionals who share our passion for elevated service, strong
leadership, and an uncompromising commitment to guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities: Oversee daily front of house operations, ensuring
flawless execution of service. Lead, mentor, and help develop the
FOH team, fostering a culture of professionalism, hospitality, and
accountability. Collaborate closely with Chefs and BOH team to
maintain consistency and timing across all aspects of service.
Manage reservations, guest flow, and dining room presence with a
proactive and solutions oriented approach. Drive wine, cocktail,
and upselling initiatives while maintaining strong product
knowledge. Handle scheduling, labor management, and administrative
duties. Address guest concerns with discretion and grace, ensuring
a world-class experience. Qualifications: Minimum 2-4 years of
leadership experience in high-volume, upscale or fine dining
environment. Experience opening and operating new restaurants, with
the ability to establish systems and train staff. Strong knowledge
of food, wine, and cocktails, with the ability to guide and train
staff. Exceptional leadership and communication skills with a
hospitality-first mindset. Proven ability to manage operations
smoothly under pressure while upholding service excellence.
