Restaurant Manager - PostingDelasia, LLC operates a successful Asian themed restaurant in the center of Tempe. This family centric restaurant has been open through the pandemic and continues to thrive. We are seeking a motivated individual to help with growing this restaurant out of the pandemic and into the future. This is a highly independent position, giving the qualified candidate an opportunity to grow and experiment.Restaurant Manager Job Responsibilities: - Sets the tone for restaurant by creating a friendly, open environment and a pleasant experience for our guests.

  • Responsible for human resource management, including recruiting, training, and coaching of staff. Maintaining moral of staff and creating a warm, supportive environment. Staffing, scheduling, and time keeping.
  • Works with ownership in promoting the restaurant, developing marketing and promotional ideas, maintaining restaurant social medica accounts, working with the community, and promoting the restaurant.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen staff on quality control, waste minimization, new menu ideas, kitchen efficiency, and communicating with the front of house.
  • Works with staff to be legally compliant with health, safety, alcohol, and other matters.
  • Publicizes the restaurant by designing and placing advertisements; inviting food editors to review the restaurant; contacting local, regional, and national magazines with feature ideas; and encouraging local businesses to hold social events at the restaurant.
  • Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations; securing revenues; developing and implementing disaster plans; maintaining security and sprinkler systems; and maintaining parking lot and walkways.
  • Maintains ambiance by controlling lighting, background music, linen service, glassware, dinnerware, and utensil quality and placement; and monitoring food presentation and service.
  • Update POS menu and other items as needed.Restaurant Manager Qualifications/Skills:

    • Positive and effective verbal communicationEducation, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
      • 5+ years of hospitality-related experience
      • 3+ years of restaurant manager or leadership experience
      • Current food handler's card and other certification as required by federal/state/local law
      • Familiar with point-of-sale computers and software
