Details - Inpatient physical therapy setting at a hospital in Oro Valley, AZ - Day shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with 2–3 weekends per month - 36-hour work week - Floating required to sister facilities in the area (Northwest Medical Center, NW Houghton, and NW Sahuarita) - Cerner EMR used; experience preferred but not required Requirements - Minimum 2 years of PT experience; at least 1 year of recent experience in the specialty required - Acute inpatient rehab experience required - Active AZ PT license required (if applicable) - Current BLS certification required - Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date - Candidates must not have any gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months - Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible - Valid driver's license required for consideration Additional Information - Responsibilities include patient evaluation, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing techniques to improve mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability - Patient education on long-term condition management and wellness is a key component of the role - Any color scrubs are acceptable - RTO requests must be less than one week in duration - Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position - First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded; contact your recruiter for eligibility details American Traveler Job ID P-680811.
