ABHS, Arizona's largest free-standing psychiatric hospital system, is currently seeking an experienced Nurse Supervisor. Our Level 1, acute care psychiatric facility located in Tempe is licensed to treat adults and adolescents for a wide range of psychiatric conditions and chemical dependency. The Nursing Supervisor will provide professional nursing care to patients according to hospital policy and procedure; will assess patient care needs, plan and implement nursing care procedures, evaluate patient progress and modify care plans as necessary; will provide teaching to patients and their families; will direct the work of nursing support staff through the use of appropriate delegation and supervision skills. Resolve interpersonal conflict in a straightforward, honest, and timely manner. Set priorities, be organized and be a self-starter. Be friendly, empathetic, and an adept communicator. Treat colleagues, clients and their families with respect. INDHIGH Requirements: ADN or BSN from an accredited college or university. One year of Nurse Supervisor experience preferred. Valid Arizona RN license in good standing. Must be able to pass background check and drug screen. Meet qualifications for an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
