RN Navigator Full Time Days Position Summary The RN Navigator enhances the patient experience by interfacing with various patient care teams and assists to provide comprehensive care to patients who are in need of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and those newly diagnosed with medical conditions requiring treatment/follow-up. The RN Navigator works collaboratively with physician specialists (both interventional and diagnostic), genetic counselors, referring physicians, other treating physicians, surgeons and other treatment navigators to ensure that the patient gets seamless care for optimum outcomes. This position provides clinical functions as required in support of services and participates in maintaining a safe, cost-effective patient care environment. The RN Navigator also serves as a community liaison for education and awareness. Special Skills: This position involves seeing the patient through the entire process from Pre-admission to post follow-up. May require the knowledge and skills necessary to provide various services, depending on the work setting. This position involves educating and navigating the patient through the entire procedure process from Pre-admission to post follow-up as to provide an excellent patient experience. Must have excellent problem solving skills. MUST have strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with the Multi-disciplinary team., including physicians, nurses, co-workers, referring physician groups, and patients families, etc RN TELE. Stepdown, ICU, Cath LAB , EP or some cardiac background is preferred but not necessary. Will train for right candidate. Some flexibility is required as the schedule is based around the patients procedure Seeking a professional, warm and friendly first impression RN NAVIGATOR FT DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited Nursing program. PREFERRED EDUCATION: BSN MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1 - 2 years experience in a clinical setting . Preference would be some cardiac expr. REQUIRE CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: RN License in the State of Arizona, or other Compact State, Basic Life Support.
