Speech Language Pathologist Job DescriptionSoar Autism Center is
seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our
interdisciplinary team in Tempe, Arizona.Job Summary:We are looking
for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to work with children
with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families. As a key
member of our team, you will conduct assessments, develop treatment
plans, and provide therapy to help children improve their
communication abilities.Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language,
and communication disorders in children with ASD
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve
communication skills
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, including behavior
analysts, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to ensure
comprehensive care
- Provide education, resources, and support to families to foster
their child's speech and language development
- Evaluate and document progress, making adjustments to treatment
plans as neededQualifications:
- Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an
accredited program
- License to practice speech pathology in the state of Arizona or
Colorado
- 3+ years of experience in speech therapy, with a preference for
those with experience working with children with ASD
- Prior experience with Augmentative and Alternative
Communication (AAC) or interest in learning from our clinical
teams
- Ability to connect and engage with young children and their
