We are looking for an experienced, Certified Medical Assistant Medical Scribe to join our medical team Full-time in Tempe, AZ. We are looking for someone who is detail oriented, dependable, and enjoys helping others.

Duties:
Assist medical and back-office staff when necessary
Help team members as needed (answer phones, scheduling)
Obtain History of present illness-past medical history
Document into the EMR
Update patient notes into the EMR
Document MDs patient treatment plan and give Patient education of treatment plans
Vital Signs
Patient Education
Submit paperwork for prior authorization on procedures
Communicate with patients via telephone and email
Give IM injections as ordered

Requirements:
Current Medical Assistant Certification (CMA)
Have at least 1 year of Relevant work experience
Knowledge of EMR and ICD-10 codes
Basic knowledge of insurance plans, medical terminology

Schedule:
4 days per week (Mon-Thurs)
Off Friday and No weekend hours = 3-day weekends!!

Salary:
$18.50-$21.25-hr depending on experience
