Job Title:Senior Associate / Manager , Corporate Strategy & PlanningLocation:CityScapeWhat you'll do:This role will oversee the execution of the Bank's Strategic Planning Process and Strategic Plan through progress monitoring and collaborating across management levels to achieve effective implementation. Acts as an internal strategic business partner and consultant to aid the executive team in developing business initiatives aligned to the Strategic Plan while bringing the capability to initiate Corporate Development opportunities. This role would manage the development of operational & business strategies to achieve full implementation of the Bank's Strategic Plan.What we are looking for:

  • Assists in the development and execution of the enterprise-wide strategic plan, annually, working alongside bank's senior management to achieve proper planning of business initiatives to align with the overall growth strategy, and safety and soundness of the Bank.
  • Oversees the strategic plan integration with extensive processes including budget, operational risk, technology management, and process enhancement.
  • Works alongside the Corporate Strategy team and the bank's Senior Management to determine the strategic priorities for the Bank and identify recurring issues while mitigating risks.
  • Creates strategic frameworks, roadmaps, templates, and strategic advisory to enhance and strengthen business initiatives to align with the bank's growth path.
  • Supports the Strategic Planning Working Group to ensure consistency and alignment across Senior Management's direct reports in their strategic planning material development.
  • Supports the Quarterly Business Review Meetings to ensure alignment of KRIs, Execution Risk, Operational Plans, and financial planning towards the bank's Strategic Plan
  • Maintains strategic relationships with peers across multiple business functions to ensure alignment of trends & strategies of the Bank are in line with those in the banking industry.
  • Acts as a resource to enhance strategic execution by aligning cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality progress on the planning, presentation, and implementation of business initiatives.
  • Collaborates across the bank to ensure proper alignment of communication and navigate ambiguity to deliver robust business solutions enterprise-wide.
  • Works in close partnership with business unit leadership to develop plans for potential acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and investments/divestitures. You will build, review, and present financial models and related analysis around potential transactions for organic or inorganic growth opportunities.Qualifications
    • 5 - 8 Years of relevant experience through management consulting, strategy consulting, or internal strategic planning or corporate strategy within the Banking industry
    • Experience driving large initiatives from framing the problem, conducting research / analysis to building the business and operational plans through to driving execution to success.
    • Experience creating and presenting executive level presentations for executive stakeholders while managing ambiguity throughout the creative process.
    • Entrepreneurial and proactive in identifying opportunities and solutions utilizing your strong business acumen and analytical problem-solving skills to help inform decision-making for senior leaders
