Key Responsibilities

• Ensures the real estate portfolio is aligned with company's overall strategy in all aspects of site selection, acquisition and disposition. Proactively works with customer peers and executives to establish strategic plans and needs, and to identify and implement viable solutions.
• Manages the planning construction and maintenance of equipment, machinery, grounds and facilities. Ensures that building codes and safety standards are maintained
• Designs, develops and implements organizational policies and procedures relevant to the facilities department. Effectively oversees the coordination of building space allocation and layout, facilities expansion, and related communications.
• Establishes and maintains standard methods and processes of capital budgeting and reporting, real estate transaction management and lease administration
• Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
• Foresees the impact of evolving change upon existing operating plans and budgets. Directs through subordinate managers, the development of operating expense and capital budgetary strategies to effectively accommodate significant changes to business conditions, opportunities, and requirements.
• Is sensitive to the changing corporate business environment, the resulting impacts upon the operating divisions, and the ultimate impacts upon customer needs.
• Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Functional Knowledge
