of Compliance to join our team.LocationJoin our team in Tempe,
AZResponsibilitiesMeet the requirements of NextCare's Corporate
Integrity Agreement.Maintain the effectiveness of the NextCare
Compliance Program.Develop and deploy effective communication and
education regarding the NextCare Compliance Program.Oversee
NextCare reporting mechanisms, investigation and follow-up of
reports of misconduct, questions or concerns.Review contracts for
regulatory risk and compliance; draft contracts that meet
regulatory requirements.Conduct an annual risk assessment and
develop a workplan to address key risk areas.Coordinate response to
incidents with NextCare's insurance carriers and develop measures
to mitigate risks.Perform research, serve as an internal consultant
and provide guidance on compliance matters to employees and
management including the business office, coding, physician
contracting, fraud & abuse laws, Medicare/Medicaid regulatory
requirements or other compliance related subject matter.Implement
and oversee activities designed to monitor high risk areas such as
coding, billing, physician contracting, screening of employees and
contractors and other areas vulnerable to compliance risk.Manage
budget. Lead, mentor and develop talent within the organization at
both corporate and clinic levels on compliance.Treat patients and
co-workers consistent with the NextCare Mission Statement, Vision,
Values and Performance Standards.Perform other related duties as
assigned or described in Company policy.How you will make an
impactThe Director of Compliance directs and coordinates the
activities of the NextCare Compliance Program; oversees the
deployment and overall operation of the compliance program, and
functions as an independent and objective body that reviews and
evaluates compliance issues/concerns within NextCare. The Director
of Compliance monitors compliance trends, measures the
effectiveness of the program, shares best practices, and manages
compliance-related communications; monitors the compliance of the
Board of Directors, management, and employees with the rules and
regulations of regulatory agencies, company policies and
procedures, and those compliance-related provisions of NextCare's
Code of Conduct; monitors provider contract compliance, accuracy of
billing, and appropriate payments; and directs corporate efforts
for the detection, investigation, prevention, and prosecution of
fraudulent/abusive acts.Essential Education, Experience and
Skills:Education: Minium of Bachelors Degree and MBA in
Health-related fieldsCertification: Certified in Health Care
Compliance Experience & SkillsMinimum of seven (7) years'
experience as a practicing lawyer in regulatory or corporate
law.Exposure to and/or familiarity with the following areas of law:
health care, HIPAA/HITECH, contracts, intellectual property,
compliance, regulatory, employment and general business
law.Experience managing compliance in a healthcare setting and
corporate functions as well as experience with cost-effective
management of outside legal resources.Experience in managing
litigation, including dealing with insurers.Corporate governance
exposure or experience is a plus.Excellent written and oral
communication skills.Demonstrated achievement as a strategic leader
in driving risk management and legal strategies that support the
business imperatives of a high performance, high growth
organization.Leadership experience in a multi-location organization
with a distributed workforce.Experience interacting with a Board of
Directors or similar governing body.Demonstrated achievements in
driving change that effectively impacts an organization.Valued But

DoctorExperience: Multisite urgent care experienceLicense: Licensed
