Job Summary:
We are currently searching for a Safety Manager, working in
Phoenix, Arizona, but
overseeing our business in AZ, NV, and TX.
Duties/Responsibilities:
--- Promote the business's award winning "Safety Culture"
--- Observe safe work practices and present opportunities for
improvement
--- Mentor employees and encourage their safe work practices,
following Stop Work
Authority
--- Generate, observe, inspect, and close job audits, toolboxes,
and work safe
observations
--- Perform health and safety program auditing
--- Assist in incident investigations and emergency response
--- Attend safety meetings and convey that information to the
project team and
corporate
--- Ensure all employees are working in a safe manner that aligns
w/ Kayo
Standards and OSHA regulations.
--- Create and deliver training to standardize and uphold safe work
practices
--- Ensure our team completes assigned/necessary training in
relation to the role
they occupy
--- Deliver recurrent training and coaching to constantly improve
and keep safety
top of mind for all employeesRequired Skills/Abilities:
--- Must have three managerial experiences in Safety
--- Must have five years of experience in industrial, electrical,
or construction safety
--- Experience working in general construction, or solar
--- Exhibit integrity, flexibility, initiative, and adherence to
company policies and
programs
--- Clear and concise communications, both written and oral
--- Ability to effectively work with in all levels or divisions
on-site, in meetings, and
within the company
--- Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office applications
and emails
--- Travel as needed to field offices and remote locations
Physical Requirements:
--- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds; assistance may be
provided for oversized
items
--- Able to sit, stand, walk, and drive for up to 8 hours at a
time
--- Work postures include reaching, kneeling, pushing, pulling,
squatting, crawling,
bending, twisting, climbing, and handling objects above / below the
