DH Pace Company aspires to hire a Department Manager in Tempe,
Arizona who will be responsible for managing a team of Project
Managers. This position will manage operations for our Commercial
Entry Door Division specializing in doors, frames, and
Manage day-to day operations of the Project Management team.
Review workload and manpower to meet customer commitments in a cost
Review project plans and specifications to determine materials,
schedule, budget parameters, staffing requirements and allotment of
available resources for the various phases of the project
Review financial/operational reports.
Improve individual performance through daily, monthly and yearly
Discuss and establish work plan outline with staff; assign duties,
scope of authority and provide technical
Direct and coordinate activities to ensure project is on schedule
and within budgeted scope; review status reports prepared by staff
and make changes where needed.
Responsible for financial success of projects
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business
periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts,
interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area,
circumference, and volume
Other duties as assigned
Bachelor's degree, preferable
Prior experience managing commercial construction projects
Prefer a minimum of 5 years of leadership and project management
Candidates with high attention to detail and a drive to succeed are
Must have detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
