Wells Fargo is seeking a Data Management Analyst...

In this role, you will: Design and conduct moderately complex analysis to identify and remediate data quality or integrity issues and to identify and remediate process or control gaps
Adhere to data governance standards and procedures
Identify data quality metrics and execute data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality
Design and monitor data governance, data quality and metadata policies, standards, tools, processes or procedures to ensure data control and remediation for companywide data management functions
Support communications with basic documentation related to requirements, design decisions, issue closure, or remediation updates
Support issue remediation by performing basic to mildly complex data profiling, data or business analysis, and data mapping as part of root cause or impact analysis
Provide support to regulatory analysis and reporting requirements
Recommend plans for the development and implementation of initiatives that assess the quality of new data sources
Work with business and technology partners or subject matter professionals to document or maintain business or technical metadata about systems, business or data elements, or data-related controls
Consult with clients to assess the current state of data quality within area of assigned responsibility
Required Qualifications, US: 2+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications: 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: data management, data governance, data quality, data analysis or related experience
4+ years of audit, regulatory compliance or risk management experience
4+ years of financial industry experience
Knowledge and understanding of audit, regulatory compliance and risk management
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
Ability to take initiative, identify opportunities and implement change
Experience assessing compliance against BCBS 239 principles
Knowledge and understanding of financial industry compliance requirements
Job Expectations: Collaborate with control management and business data leader teams across the bank to execute the annual refresh of the BCBS 239 risk report inventory. Execute and evidence all change management activities for the inventory.
Review and analyze existing data-related policies and procedures to execute quarterly and annual maintenance for the BCBS 239 principle mapping.
Support key stakeholder communications. Develop and maintain close partnerships across EDG, DMI, control management, data domain teams and risk report owners.
Support key BCBS 239 governance routines as needed, such as scoping criteria, maturity assessment, risk report inventory, etc.
Support key governance routines, and high priority initiatives, to evidence and mature BCBS 239 adherence
Proactively pursue optimization, process improvements, and synergy across team's capabilities, and collaborate to define and deliver metrics
