OverviewThe PROTEOR knee portfolio is a major growth engine for the company, with its latest innovation - the Quattro microprocessor knee - launched this past September. This role will have global responsibility for the knee category - both from an upstream and downstream marketing perspective. PROTEOR will consider elevating to a Senior Product Manager position for the right candidate.The Product Manager/Sr. Product Manager will have responsibility for both product planning and product marketing (upstream and downstream activities) on a worldwide basis. This position will define the product vision and positioning, working closely with engineering and clinical services to deliver winning products defined by customer needs. The Sr Product Manager will be well versed on the clinical/technical requirements, customer/patient needs and the overall marketing strategies for the product. The Sr Product Manager will be responsible for the identification and development of new product opportunities by collecting field intelligence, conducting voice of the customer exercises and other forms of market research. This position will guide and coordinate all activities to develop and launch products successfully into the prosthetic markets. The Product Manager/Sr Product Manager will be the residing expert for their products and markets.Responsibilities & Duties

• Monitor and analyze market trends to capitalize on new product and business opportunities, building a business case to support new product development initiatives
• Manage all aspects of new product development, define product specifications, profitability analysis, market assessment/feasibility, market feedback, launch strategy and execution and communication support.
• Provide all marketing communication activities, including sales brochures, mailers, internet, catalog, trade shows, packaging, etc.
• Develop and maintain yearly/quarterly/monthly sales forecasts for their assigned products
• Develop and drive messaging/positioning, pricing, and sales channel strategy.
• Identify and develop training materials for sales reps, customer service and distributors
• Maintain ongoing competitive and market analysis, conducting market research (quantitative and qualitative)
• Create and implement sales promotions by working closely with the sales, marketing and clinical services teams
• Develop and manage expense budget for area of responsibility
  
  Requirements:
  Qualifications
  • For Product Manager Role: 3-5 Years of Product Management experience in the medical device or related fields
  • For Sr. Product Manager Role: 5-7 Years of Product Management experience in the medical device or related fields
  • Demonstrated success in defining & launching new products
  • Experience in motivating & supporting a direct sales team
  • Experience in product & annual forecasting process
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Bachelor's degree In Marketing or Business preferred
  • Strong financial, analytical and planning skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPointGeneral
