We have a global manufacturing and supply network with partner facilities in the United States, Germany, Switzerland, China, and Japan.We are currently seeking an Accounting Manager to join our team.Job Specific Responsibilities:

• Supervise the Accounting Specialist(s) in the performance of accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Report directly to the U.S. Division Corporate Controller
• Prepare monthly journal entries
• Reconcile all balance accounts monthly
• Prepare monthly financial statements and explain variances
• Assist the U.S. Division Corporate Controller with any budgets, forecasts, or financial reporting
• Analyze inventory to ensure accuracy
• Perform cost accounting functions and generate reports to analyze manufacturing costs
• Maintain the Sale/Use tax system, which includes filing state sales tax reports
• Preparation of monthly analysis and accrual of all open customer RMAs
• Maintain cash reporting and cash-flow forecast
• Serve as the backup for maintaining the daily cashbook balance
• Be a business partner and support other department managers to improve procedures, controls, and systems continuously
• Use professional knowledge and exercise discretion and judgment to maintain the company's accounting system
• Assist the U.S. Division Controller with any special projectsQualifications/Requirements
  • 3+ years of Accounting in Manufacturing Experience (Preferred)
  • 5+ years of Accounting Manager Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (Preferred)
  • Supervisory Experience (Required)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
  • Ability to lead a team-based approach to decision-making
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to get results through mentoring others

      • 4 - 9 hour shifts and 1 - 4 hour shift or 4 -10's Monday -Thursday
      • Day shift
      • Monday to Thursday (6:00am - 3:30pm) and Friday (6:00am - 10:00am)
      • Off on Saturday's & Sunday'sCompensation:

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The position involves walking, climbing stairs, sitting, talking and hearing throughout the 8-10-hour shift. Physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required.
