About the team and position
Are you passionate about the employee experience? Do you want to

This role will provide countless opportunities to tackle our most
pressing challenges for our Employee Success Training team. To be
successful, this role requires a unique mix of business intuition,
analytical expertise, and aptitude to drive strategic decisions
related to employee success.
This AD will think critically about training strategy and
collaborate with cross-functional business partners. This includes
the ability to connect the dots, see interrelations and impacts
between complex different teams, and clearly communicate
recommendations, available options, and various implications.
What you'll be doing
This position is responsible for driving the training strategy and
alignment across multiple teams through strategic planning,
execution, collaboration with leadership, and leading and mentoring
a team of organizational enablement professionals. Additionally,
you'll:
Lead the strategic planning of the employee learning experience,
internal communications and implementation of training
programs.
Partner closely with business leaders and relevant stakeholders to
assess needs, develop learning solutions, and deliver training to
improve the performance of leaders, teams, and individuals across
the organization.
Create internal communication strategies and work cross
functionally to execute messaging.
Develop a team of training professionals who enable Carvana to
deliver the best in class customer experience.
Guide and design the vision behind a user-centric content based on
adult learning principles to drive learning transfer, performance
improvement, and business outcomes/results across a wide range of
delivery methods to include classroom, webinar, digital, and other
modalities.
Identify gaps and opportunities in on-going curriculums and
addresses creatively and innovatively.
Measure and report on the effectiveness of learning solutions that
have been implemented.
Confer with management, supervisors and employees to gain knowledge
of work situations requiring training and to better understand
changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives
and technologies.
Work cross-functionally with groups company-wide, including Market
Operations, People Operations, Logistics, and Inspection Centers to
drive meaningful results.
Leads the charge on operations change communication and
participates in organizational change management.
Sustain a thriving culture that embodies our vision and values
Lead a number of change management, learning and development and
other programs in parallel and support the teams' ability to
execution
Identify, assess and design different initiatives to elevate the
customer and employee experience in partnership with Operations and
Talent Development.

What you should have
Bachelor's degree 10+ years working experience in a training and
development capacity in a large and complex business setting.
Experience developing successful training programs that have led to
employee performance improvement and ultimately had a positive
influence on the business's overall performance and
effectiveness.
Exceptional communication skills both in written and in verbal
form.
Highly proficient in the use of Ms Word, Ms Excel, and
PowerPoint.
Ability to learn quickly and transfer knowledge
Excellent communication skills including clear, articulate and
confident written and verbal communication, specifically with
remote direct reports
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Ability to scale and lead a large operations team while influencing
and consulting with top executives on strategy related to a complex
operational environment
Have proven analytical skills, being capable of gathering,
conducting and evaluating analyses of program performance,
identifying points of improvement, and developing clear and
compelling solutions and strategies from the findings.
Strong project management skills with the ability to balance
multiple projects at once, while effectively producing excellent
presentations and proposals
Excellent organizational and people leadership abilities
Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines
Driven by working hard, being challenged in a fast-paced
environment, and having fun while doing so
Extra things we'd love to see
MBA or Master's Degree equivalent
Knowledge and understanding of key operations principles
Experience working in a contact center environment preferred
Proven track record of driving strategies in a fast growing
start-up atmosphere
In depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles
