Job Description:

CircleK seeks a self-motivated sales lead to join our multi-national convenience store chain acting in a strategic role to help grow media sales in the US with our first-class digital instore solutions to key CPG clients and their agencies. It is a fantastic opportunity to monetize Circle K's digital platforms and create immense business value to both our advertising partners and everyday customers.
JOB SUMMARY:
Help grow digital sales in the US with a targeted focus on (1) DRIVING sales across key CPG and agency partners for Circle K; (2) STRATEGICALLY approach current and prospective clients to determine media platforms that best meet their marketing and advertising initiatives (3) INTERPRET data to drive recommendations to drive future business (4) PRESENTING to and talking with key client and agency decision-makers around both current and new offerings. This position may be based in Tempe, AZ or remote depending on the candidate.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WOULD BE:
Persuasive Sales Lead -- Track record of meeting/exceeding sales quota while maintaining a healthy pipeline of business. Comfort in in presenting, interacting, and negotiating with high level client and agency leads. Can speak to benefits of multiple platforms and position data in both a thoughtful and exciting manner to build relationships and future business
Self-Motivated - Loves to prospect new business and cold-call clients and agencies. Does not need their hand held and loves a fast-pace environment with an eagerness to keep learning about innovations in the space with new opportunities to monetize in the channel
Accomplished Collaborator -- Able to get things done without formal authority or reporting relationships, working across sales, marketing, operations, ad planning & scheduling functions seamlessly. Operates everyday with a "OneTeam" mindset.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Drives media sales and healthy pipeline for our platforms in the US market
Conduct high-level client sales meetings and presentations to move the sales process towards agreement
Effectively negotiate planning and pricing details with client to close the deal
Interpret data and campaign performance metrics to drive insights and recommendations through results presentations to renew business
Highly developed written and oral presentation skills
Determine the right marketing mix and budget plans for our platforms to attract and retain clients
"Cold" calling and emailing new prospects
Ability to think strategically from a marketing perspective
Complete regular sales pipelines and revenue forecasts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Professional with +4 years of media sales/marketing experience in retail and/or digital, digital out of home environment
Experience selling to CPG clients, leading brand advertisers, and/or ad agencies
BS/MS degree in advertising, business, marketing, or a related field preferred
Proficiency in MS software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and CRM tools
Demonstrate sound business judgment and decision-making skills, ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact sales opportunities
Track record of meeting/exceeding sales quota
Experience with digital media planning, buying, activations, partnerships, targeted offers, loyalty, and driving sales in cross-platform environment.
Deep understanding of media landscape and economy.

Note: remote work available with this role
